Teen Finalists of Captain America: Civil War Challenge

Five teenage girls who dream about changing the future through science, technology, engineering and math (STEM) visited Dolby Laboratories in Hollywood as part of Marvel’s Captain America: Civil War – Girls Reforming the Future Challenge.

The girls submitted a STEM project that has the potential to benefit the world.

The five finalists are: Vivian Qiang from Marlboro, New Jersey (right); Maia Dua from West Sacramento, California (second from right); Margaret Fleck from Emmaus, Pennsylvania (third from right); Janie Kim from San Diego, California (fourth from right); and Holly Rieping from Colorado Springs, Colorado (fifth from right).

The finalists were hosted by Andrew Dahlkemper, Dolby’s SVP, Human Resources (fourth from left), and three of Dolby’s women technologists: Cinema Business Product Manager Nora Hui (left), Content Service Manager Graef Allen (second from left), and Software Engineer Suzanne Farrell (third from left).
