UNESCO to Host Global Partnership for Education Conference

The objective of the joint UNESCO-Global Partnership for Education conference is to share knowledge and best practices on Education Management and Information System (EMIS).

The conference will explore ways to reinforce international cooperation to support developing countries in establishing or strengthening their EMIS.

It will be held from Wednesday, 11 April 2018 to Friday, 13 April 2018 in Paris, France.

According to UNESCO, EMIS is a key requirement for national authorities to assess, manage and monitor their education system.

EMIS can be used to monitor national development goals related to education whether education systems are on track to meet international development targets such as SDG4.
