The Food and Agriculture Organization (FAO) of the United Nations is inviting children and teens all over the world to create a poster that illustrates their idea of what needs to be done to make healthy diets available for everyone and how each of us can improve our diets.

Young minds will be inspired by the World Food Day Activity Book that shows why healthy eating matters and how everyone can come together and take action to achieve better nutrition and #ZeroHunger.

The participants can take a photo or scan their poster and submit the entry by filling out the form on the FAO website. The contest is open to children and youth between the ages of 5 and 19, living anywhere in the world.

Three winners in each age category will be selected by the jury and announced in December. Winners will be promoted by FAO offices around the world and receive a surprise gift bag and certificate of recognition. The deadline for entries is 8 November 2019.
