Robots Invade Schools to Teach Kids to Code

Wonder Workshop announced Thursday that its Teach Wonder education program has now reached elementary and middle school children in more than 150 schools.

Wonder Workshop is working alongside educators from select schools to develop ongoing curriculum that infuses the Dash & Dot toy robots into classroom activities and to grow an online community of teachers to share guides and custom created content generated by students.

In an ever-changing world that revolves around technology, teachers are looking to new creative tools to help prepare their students for their future careers. Educators, parents and kids ages five and up are discovering how the robots can bring imaginations to life and teach the fundamentals of coding through hands-on, adventurous and creative play.

The four free Wonder Workshop apps that come along with the robots are now compatible with more than 20 iOS and Android devices including the iPad 3, iPad mini, iPad air and a variety of Nexus and Samsung Galaxy devices.
