Times Square was trashified Saturday, thanks to a special delivery from Australian toy company Moose Toys. In a Trash Pack dump truck, the company unveiled The Trash Pack Series Three with the first delivery of the toys to Toys“R”Us Times Square.

The third collection of the garbage-themed collectible toys is available starting this week exclusively at Toys“R”Us stores and online at Toysrus.com/TrashPack.

Throughout the day, The Trash Pack Trash Crew handed out 20,000 of some of the first Series Three samples to fans young and old to build excitement about the launch.

In addition, fans had the opportunity to take photos with the truck, the Trash Pack Trash Crew street team and two Trash Pack characters – Blow Fly and Trash-A-Pillar – in front of Toys“R”Us Times Square.

Families were encouraged to play with the toys in-store where they received a free gift with any Trash Pack purchase.

“We are thrilled to announce to kids and collectors nationwide today that Series Three of The Trash Pack is now available at Toys“R”Us stores and online,” said Tamara Stewart, VP Marketing & Strategy U.S., Moose Toys.

With the addition of 173 new Series Three Trashies, there are now over 500 Trashies for fans to play with and collect, says the company.

The Trash Pack dump truck will visit the Ronald McDonald House New York today, Oct. 7, for another special delivery. The Trash Pack crew will unload boxes of donated Moose toys from the truck and provide entertainment for the children and their families.

The organization provides temporary housing for children battling cancer and their families while the child receives treatment at one or more of 13 nearby partnering hospitals throughout the city.
